Guests can enjoy exclusive access to two private beaches

Selva Terra is a lush island hideaway nestled in the heart of Panama’s Gulf of Chiriquí, offering the perfect beachside retreat for those seeking privacy, comfort, and connection with nature. Selva Terra is one of the few resorts in Panama that offers private beach access, surrounded by pristine and largely untouched tropical rainforest. Witness for yourself an island that blends raw natural beauty with understated luxury.

Selva Terra's
Beaches

The beaches at Selva Terra are serene, unspoiled, and located only steps away from the casitas. Here, the coastline remains as nature intended. Guests can enjoy a beachfront resort that is secluded and crowd-free, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or launching a paddleboard or kayak to explore the surrounding marine park. Whether you’re looking for adventure or total relaxation, Selva Terra’s beach access makes it easy to immerse yourself in the region’s natural beauty.

Coco Bay spans 800ft of coastline on the East side of the resort. This beach form crescent-shaped bay, the sand is soft, and the water is gentle. Our island hikes and mangrove tour start and end at Coco Bay. The Beach Club and our complementary SUP’s and kayaks are also located at Coco Bay. This is the perfect place to enjoy service at sea cocktails, a fresh coconut, or the start of your next adventure on the island.

Clay Sand Beach is a sandy beach located on the West side of the resort. The beach is more exposed to swell, making it the perfect spot to listen to the sound of the waves. You can also go shell-hunting or explore the tidal pools.

Located just a 5 minute paddle away from the resort, our Sand Dollar Surf Break is a sandy bottom point break, suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers.  Visit us between April and August for best swell conditions.

Luxury Island Amenities

Spend your days discovering one of Panama’s most vibrant coral reefs through snorkeling or scuba diving, or enjoy the thrill of catch-and-release fishing in crystal-clear waters. Set off on unforgettable island-hopping excursions, paddle through mangrove forests by kayak or stand-up paddleboard, or ride the waves at a nearby surf break. You can also hike through pristine jungle trails, spot exotic wildlife, witness the awe-inspiring humpback whale migration, or try your hand at pottery, guided by local tradition.
