Our 6-day pottery retreats offers the perfect combination of expert-led pottery workshops, nourishing food, adventure, wellness and relaxation. Whether you are a beginner looking looking to fall in love with a new hobby, or an intermediate potter seeking guidance and mentorship, our ceramics retreat invites you to unleash your creativity and meet other potters in a tropical and serene environment.
Our pottery retreats are limited to 10 – 12 students depending on the retreat.

How does payment work?
A US$750 deposit is required upfront to secure your spot with the balance due 90 days prior to the retreat start date. Payments can be made via credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or wire transfer.

Ceramics Teachers
Kristina Latraverse is a Ceramic Artist and Educator whose work is deeply informed by her connection to the natural world. Drawing inspiration from botanical forms and textures, she creates both functional and sculptural pieces that evoke the beauty and complexity of the environment. With over 20 years of experience in fine arts, education, and ceramics, Kristina combines traditional techniques with a contemporary sensibility, guiding her students through a process that fosters creativity, technical skill, and personal expression.
As the founder and owner of Seagrass Pottery, a professional ceramics studio with two locations on Florida’s Space Coast, Kristina has cultivated a dynamic space for artistic growth and collaboration. Her work is highly collected and celebrated for its refined coastal aesthetic. Her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States. Garret Pendergrass is a Fort Worth-based Ceramic Artist and teacher. Garret has been teaching students from K-12, undergraduates, and private lessons for all ages since 2004. In 2013 Garret opened his own pottery teaching studio GPP, now located in the Magnolia Village of Fort Worth. His studio is popular in the area for specializing in wheel throwing classes. Beginners will find their lessons geared towards learning the basics of the pottery wheel to throw cups and small bowl forms. More advanced students will have the opportunity to challenge themselves to pursue pieces of interest with the help of Garret’s guidance

Frequently Asked Questions
Panama City Tocumen (PTY) is the main international airport for commercial airlines. From Panama City, you will need to fly to David (DAV) with Copa Airlines, Air Panama, or private charter.
Upon arrival in David, our driver will take you to the nearest marina, followed by a short guided boat ride to the resort. The travel time from David Airport to Selva Terra is approximately 1 hour.
If you require assistance in Panama City we can also help you. Our Panama City package includes all logistics from the moment you arrive in Panama with an overnight stay in the capital. Enquire for more details or refer to our Getting Here section.
Yes, they are welcome to join the retreat as a non-student. They will still get to enjoy the resort activities, facilities and retreat schedule, but without the pottery workshops.
We can fire up to 3 of your pieces, subject to them being dry enough in time. Alternatively, we can arrange to ship them to your home address at an additional fee, via DHL.
