Reasons to Plan a Corporate Retreat in Panama

Panama is the isthmus connecting North and South America, and is rich in culture, wildlife, lush islands and jungle landscapes, and a vibrant city life. Whether you’re interested in nature, history, culture, or simply relaxing on beautiful beaches, Panama offers something for every traveler.

  • Easy to get to: The capital, Panama City, is well-connected with direct flights from major cities in the Americas and Europe, making it convenient for international travelers to reach.
  • Adventure opportunities: from jungle hikes, sportfishing, surfing, scuba diving, ziplining in the cloud forest, to visiting the historic Casco Viejo or the Panama Canal, Panama is rich in outdoor adventures and cultural heritage.
  • Gorgeous weather: Panama offers a tropical climate, with temperature ranges between 77F to 86F throughout the year. We recommend visiting anytime between November and July, to avoid the heavy rainfall months.

Tips for Planning an Executive Retreat in Panama

While you are planning your luxury executive retreat in Panama, it is crucial to have a general idea about the types of activities you’d like to offer, the budget and location ahead of time. This will help you to hash out all of the finer details further down the line. With many executive retreat locations booking out their venues over a year in advance, leaving the planning to the last minute can lead to missed opportunities and unnecessary stress. These are our tips for planning an executive retreat in Panama:

  • Plan well in advance to avoid missed opportunities. The top executive retreat locations will typically book out a year in advance.
  • Make sure third party companies work together. If you are considering using different companies to plan your executive retreats, e.g. one for transportation, another for activities, make sure they communicate or work together. Otherwise it can turn into a logistical nightmare. You want to keep the logistics simple so that the retreat can run as smoothly as possible. Choosing an all-inclusive resort to start with, will make it easier from a logistical and planning standpoint.
  • Find a venue that will cater to everyones needs. Make the retreat inclusive by finding a venue that can offer something for everyone. Consider your groups dietary needs and activity preferences.
  • Keep it fun. Make sure you have some retreat activities planned as well as relaxation time. Offering a range of activities will keep the itinerary exciting and give your team more shared experiences and memories together.
