The best time to see whale sharks in Panama is between January and March, although sightings have been reported in the months of December and April too. Given their migration depends heavily on ocean currents and the availability of plankton, it is recommended to check in with local dive centers beforehand on latest sightings to increase your chances of witnessing a whale shark during your stay in Panama.
