Our 6-day pottery retreats offers the perfect combination of expert-led pottery workshops, nourishing food, adventure, wellness and relaxation. Whether you are a beginner looking looking to fall in love with a new hobby, or an intermediate potter seeking guidance and mentorship, our ceramics retreat invites you to unleash your creativity and meet other potters in a tropical and serene environment.

Selva Terra - A Private Island Resort in Panama
Selva Terra is a location like no other. What makes Selva Terra stand out apart from being on a private island, are the facilities and excursions available that cater to all tastes. During your stay, you will have access to the resorts’ secluded and private beaches, two pools, spa, hiking trails, magical mangroves, surf break and complementary use of surfboards, kayaks and paddleboards. Our ceramics retreats are a unique and immersive experience into the clay world. The outcome of this retreat is for the students to understand the foundations of working with clay, learn or enhance hand-building techniques and an introduction to the pottery wheel, and most importantly have a lot of fun! This retreat is designed for beginners and beginner-intermediates.
The retreat will be capped with a maximum of 12 pottery students.
What’s Included:
- 5 nights / 6 days stay at Selva Terra Private Island Resort
- Round trip airport transfers from David Airport to the island
- All-inclusive fresh and healthy meals: breakfast, lunch and 3-course gourmet dinner

How do you get to Selva Terra?
Check out our Getting Here section. When booking the retreat, airport transfers from David Airport are included.
If you require assistance in Panama City we can also help you. Our Panama City package includes all logistics from the moment you arrive in Panama with an overnight stay in the capital. Enquire for more details.
Can I bring someone that doesn’t want to participate in the pottery classes?
Want to bring a friend, partner or family along with you? Bring them along and they are welcome to join the retreat as a non-student. They will still get to enjoy the resort activities, facilities and retreat schedule, but without the pottery workshops.
Can i bring my pieces back home?
We can fire one of your pieces in our kiln for you to bring home subject to dryness. At an additional fee, we can also arrange to ship any extra pieces to you via DHL.
