Easy airport Door-to-dock arrival

Selva Terra is located on Isla Boca Brava on Panama’s Pacific coast in the Gulf of Chiriqui, just 60 miles south from Costa Rica. The closest airport to the resort is David (DAV). Upon arrival at David Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our driver and personally escorted until you arrive. The travel time is approximately 60 minutes from the airport to the resort. 

The journey here is unlike any typical airport transfer, it’s a scenic experience that offers a first glimpse of the days ahead – tranquil, beautiful yet naturally wild. By the time you arrive, you’ll already feel immersed in the spirit of Selva Terra — where the journey is just as memorable as the destination.

How to get here

  • Step 1. Fly to David Airport (DAV). 2 airlines operate this route daily: Copa Airlines (from PTY airport) and Air Panama (from PAC). Chartering a plane is also an option, contact us for a quote.
  • Step 2. Airport transfer from David Airport to Selva Terra, arranged by the resort. Upon landing in David, you will be greeted by our driver with a sign outside of the arrivals door. Our driver will take you to the nearest marina, where you will embark on a boat journey to the resort. The travel time from David Airport to Selva Terra is approximately 1 hour.

Fly into Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport (PTY), and take a connecting flight to David Enrique Malek Airport (DAV). Copa Airlines runs this route. Other airlines also fly to DAV from domestic airports within Panama City, such as Air Panama (from PAC Albrook).

The flight time is under 1 hour. Once you arrive in David, we will take care of the rest. 

Yes, contact us at info@selvaterraresort.com for a quote. Prices start from $330 each way per passenger on PAC-DAV route, but vary based on season and availability.

Boca Chica is the closest town, located just 15 minutes away from the resort via boat.

Yes, we can pick you up in private transportation from Golfito Airport or at the border. From the border, the journey takes around 2 hours door to door.

Every group buyout includes one transfer each way. If you are joining a retreat or private buyout, contact the organizer to find out what times the transfers have been arranged at. For guests that require additional transfers, contact info@selvaterraresort.com to make arrangements for members of your party traveling outside of the group.
