Tours

Selva Terra is located on Isla Boca Brava, which is a short 20 minute journey from the famous islands in the Gulf of Chiriqui: Isla Gamez, Isla Bolaños and Isla Parida. The resort also offers tours to explore Islas Secas.

Isla Gamez

Enjoy the cool shade of swaying palms over white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. This is the best beach for swimming and enjoying a relaxing time on the beach. Isla Gamez is uninhabited and is of the smallest islands yet busiest islands during the holidays and weekends. If you have flexibility over when to visit, we recommend going on a weekday.

Isla Bolaños

Isla Bolaños is another beautiful island with gorgeous white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters. If you are into snorkeling and marine life, this is the island to visit. Some of the beaches have coral reefs, where you can see large turtles. The waters surrounding Isla Bolaños is also where the humpback whales frequent the most during the whale migration.

Islas Paridas

Isla Paridas is the largest and the only inhabited island in the Gulf of Chiriqui. Isla Parida even has a bar and restaurant, which operates during the high season.

Islas Secas

One of Panama’s most remote locations is the archipelago of Islas Secas in the Gulf of Chiriquí. Islas Secas is comprised of an 16 volcanic islands, covering over 1,000 hectares in the Pacific Ocean. It’s remote location is one of the reasons why the islands are still largely unexplored and intact. The waters are even more crystal clear, and are teeming with marine life. It is a must visit for avid snorkelers and scuba divers. It is also a great spot for inshore fishing. The journey from Selva Terra to Islas Secas is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on swell conditions.
